Hello everybody! 

My name is Gabriella, I'm a member of Urbanstrikers from Italy with Irish direct origins. In this article I will present you the English Lessons Workshop I will be holding in collaboration with a Korean native speaker.

Why learning English though?

​Making art is challenging when it comes to interface with public, especially in this moment in which Urbanstrikers are starting to get contacts with overseas. To fully be part of the international artistic society, decent English skills in reading, writing and speaking are essential. 

That's why I'm proposing completely free English lessons.

Placement test

The placement test is an initial test necessary for me to understand the level of each one of the participants. Similar levels are going to be grouped together, so I will be able to build specific and differential programs. The test consists in three parts: vocabulary and grammar, or​al and written test. Since they require different skills and one could be better at one part than the others, I need to test the three of them separately.

Upload your full name and the dates in which you are available to take the test.

The registration is open until the 9th of March 9 am. ​Request made after the deadline will not be taken into consideration.

The 9th of March 6 pm I will make public the official dates of the test.

The lessons

The lessons will be divided into grammar and use of English, speaking, listening and writing. We will also do some specific lessons on art, so each one of you can present effectively your personal works.

The lessons calendar will depend on how many people take part into the workshop, how many people for each groups and how many groups I will form. I wish to have one lesson every week for each group, one hour per lesson so it won't be too heavy to handle. The four lessons spread in the month will be divided into grammar, speaking, writing, art. Locations will be decided according to the number of participants. Timing can be decided within the members of the groups. I will provide the pdf materials for the lessons, so even if someone has to miss a class it's not a big deal.

This workshop aim is to be malleable, efficient, useful and fun.

수업들

수업은 문법과 영어 사용, 말하기, 듣기 및 쓰기로 나뉩니다. 우리는 또한 예술에 관한 몇 가지 구체적인 수업을 할 것이므로 여러분 각자는 개인 작품을 효과적으로 발표 할 수 있습니다.

강의 일정은 워크샵에 참여하는 사람의 수, 각 그룹의 인원 수 및 내가 구성 할 그룹 수에 따라 다릅니다. 각 그룹에 대해 매주 한 번의 수업을하고 싶습니다. 수업 당 한 시간 씩 처리하기에는 너무 무겁지 않습니다. 한 달에 퍼진 네 가지 수업은 문법, 말하기, 쓰기, 예술로 나뉩니다. 장소는 참가자 수에 따라 결정됩니다. 타이밍은 그룹 구성원 내에서 결정될 수 있습니다. 수업에 pdf 자료를 제공 할 것이므로 누군가 수업을 놓쳐도 큰 문제는 아닙니다.

이 워크샵의 목표는 가단성, 효율성, 유용성 및 재미를 목표로합니다.
